PRODUCT INFORMATION
Overview & application
1. Product Introduction | Sludge Scraper
The ODMS Sludge Scraper is designed to collect and remove settled sludge from the bottom of wastewater clarification and sedimentation tanks. As suspended solids settle during treatment, the scraper mechanism moves accumulated sludge toward a designated collection hopper or sludge withdrawal point, helping maintain effective solids separation and reliable tank operation.
It is commonly used in primary sedimentation tanks, secondary clarifiers and other wastewater treatment settling processes in municipal and industrial facilities. Depending on tank design, the system may use a bridge-mounted, peripheral-drive or other suitable scraping arrangement for circular or rectangular tanks.
The scraper system can be configured according to tank dimensions, bottom geometry, sludge characteristics, required operating conditions and sludge removal arrangements. By supporting continuous or scheduled sludge collection, the ODMS Sludge Scraper helps reduce sludge accumulation and supports stable operation of downstream sludge handling equipment.
2. Engineered for Continuous & Reliable Sludge Collection
Continuous Scraping · Tank-Specific Design · Reliable Drive · Practical Maintenance
The ODMS Sludge Scraper combines a mechanical drive system, sludge collection arms and scraping blades to support continuous sludge removal from sedimentation tanks. Equipment configuration is matched to tank geometry, sludge loading and operating requirements.
01 | Continuous Sludge Collection
Consistent Sludge Movement Toward the Hopper
Rotating scraper arms move settled sludge along the tank floor toward the central collection hopper, supporting continuous sludge removal.
02 | Tank-Specific Configuration
Designed to Match Tank Geometry
Scraper arm length, blade arrangement and structural dimensions are configured according to tank diameter, floor slope and sludge collection requirements.
03 | Reliable Mechanical Drive
Controlled Rotation for Continuous Operation
A motor-driven reduction system provides low-speed rotation, with drive capacity selected according to scraper loading and operating conditions.
04 | Practical Inspection & Maintenance
Accessible Components for Routine Servicing
An accessible drive arrangement and serviceable mechanical components help simplify routine inspection, adjustment and maintenance.
