Textile Dyeing & Printing Wastewater

A process-led approach to your wastewater treatment challenge.

1. Treatment Challenges in Textile Dyeing Wastewater

Textile dyeing and printing wastewater may contain dyes, surfactants, salts, sizing agents and other process chemicals. Wastewater composition changes with fabric types, dyeing processes and cleaning operations.

Color & Refractory Organics — Some dyes and organic compounds are difficult to remove through conventional biological treatment alone.

Salinity & Chemical Exposure — Salts, alkalinity and process chemicals affect material selection and biological treatment conditions.

Variable pH & Temperature — Different production stages can generate wastewater with changing pH and temperature.

Chemical Sludge Generation — Coagulation and other physicochemical processes may produce sludge requiring suitable handling and dewatering.

2. Treatment Process & Equipment Solutions

Process-Based Equipment Configuration for Textile Wastewater

Treatment may combine equalization, pH adjustment, physicochemical separation, biological treatment and advanced color or organic removal. Specific process selection depends on wastewater chemistry and discharge or reuse requirements.

ODMS Equipment Across the Process

Wastewater Transfer & Screening: Submersible sewage pumps and rotary drum microscreen filters for applicable screening requirements.

Physicochemical Separation: Chemical dosing systems, DAF systems and sludge scrapers where required by the selected process.

Biological Treatment: Magnetic levitation turbo blowers, disc diffusers, tube diffusers, TPU aeration hoses, submersible mixers and flow propellers.

Sludge Dewatering: Multi-disc screw presses, decanter centrifuges and polymer preparation and dosing systems.

Reference Process Flow

Screening → Equalization / pH Adjustment → Coagulation & Flocculation → DAF / Sedimentation (As Designed) → Biological Treatment & Aeration → Advanced Treatment (If Required) → Discharge / Reuse

Separate Sludge Line: Physicochemical Sludge + Biological Sludge → Conditioning → Dewatering

3. Engineered for Complex Wastewater Chemistry

Wastewater Data Review: Assess flow, COD, BOD, color, pH, temperature, TDS, TSS and chemical composition.

Material & Chemical Compatibility: Evaluate wetted materials, chemical dosing requirements and equipment exposure conditions.

Aeration System Matching: Coordinate oxygen demand, blower pressure and airflow, diffuser selection and operating water depth.

Sludge & Interface Coordination: Review physicochemical sludge characteristics, dewatering requirements, piping and maintenance access.

4. Reliability Is Engineered — Not Assumed.

Reliable Configuration: Select equipment materials and components with consideration for wastewater chemistry, salinity and operating conditions.

Precision Engineering: Review hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and control interfaces before delivery.

Rigorous Delivery Verification: Conduct applicable inspections and functional tests against agreed project specifications.
