PRODUCT INFORMATION

Overview & application

1. Product Introduction | Submersible Mixer

The ODMS Submersible Mixer is designed to create controlled liquid circulation and uniform mixing in wastewater treatment tanks. Installed directly in the liquid, its motor-driven impeller generates a directed flow that keeps suspended solids in motion, reduces sludge settling and promotes consistent mixing throughout the treatment zone.

It is commonly used in anoxic tanks, anaerobic tanks, activated sludge systems, equalization tanks and sludge holding tanks. In anoxic and anaerobic processes, the mixer helps maintain contact between wastewater and biomass without relying on mechanical aeration for mixing. In equalization and sludge tanks, it helps limit solids accumulation and supports a more uniform mixture.

With selection based on tank dimensions, liquid depth, solids concentration, required flow pattern and installation conditions, the ODMS Submersible Mixer helps engineers achieve effective tank mixing and reliable process circulation. The mixer is selected separately from the aeration system according to the actual process requirements.

2. Engineered for Effective Sludge Mixing

Uniform Mixing · Reduced Settling · Optimized Flow · Reliable Operation

The ODMS Sludge Mixer uses an engineered impeller and motor-driven mixing system to maintain sludge movement and improve solids distribution. Equipment configuration is matched to sludge characteristics, tank geometry and required mixing intensity.

 01 | Consistent Sludge Mixing

Maintain Uniform Solids Distribution

Continuous impeller-driven flow helps distribute suspended solids throughout the tank, reducing concentration differences and supporting consistent sludge handling.

 02 | Reduced Sludge Settling

Minimize Sediment Accumulation

The mixer generates circulation to help keep settleable solids in suspension and reduce sludge deposits in low-flow areas.

 03 | Application-Based Hydraulic Design

Mixing Performance Matched to Tank Conditions

Impeller size, rotational speed and installation position are selected according to tank dimensions, sludge properties and required flow patterns.

 04 | Reliable Continuous Operation

Designed for Demanding Treatment Environments

A robust motor and mechanical assembly supports continuous mixing, with equipment materials and protection features selected for the operating environment.
